With a lifetime of instrumental instruction and a storied progressive trance career through the Airi moniker under his belt, Tokyo-based producer Felix Ando has succeeded in carving out his own personal slice of the auditory hemisphere. Having grown increasingly interested in downtempo rhythms and an expanded sound design palette, he's pivoted to releasing a new spate of tracks under his real name, and exploring a new chapter and territory in his ongoing musical development.

His adoptive style is accentuated by his precision compositions in combination with novel production choices, culminating in his latest release; New Morning exemplifies matter over might, with a strong focus on the space between texture and tone. Applying the clear-coated aesthetic of soundsystem music to the animated nuance of glitch effects, Felix Ando achieves a balance between impact and intent. Touching on tempos from hip-hop, to breakbeat, to more ephemeral speeds, the record blends a heterogeneous mixture of electronic music into a homogeneous narrative of tracks. Director at Fractyl Frequencies

Jimetrix is an avid tune sommelier who loves playing all things in the realm of Psy-Tech, from groovy bush to dark and chunky. Based in Central Queensland he was introduced to the Doof scene recently at Archaic Gathering 2023 where he was hypnotised and inspired by the likes of Audible Thought, Dani Luna, Dingo Jones, Raspa and Aaron M. Since then he dove head first into the scene with no looking back, exploring every corner of the techno scene searching for some of the best tunes it has to offer.

Recently launching his own brand Fractyl Frequencies which is aimed at bringing more Doof culture to the Central Queensland scene and showcasing the amazing talent it has to offer whilst giving the local crew a space to do what they do best 🔊🔊
