A self made talent Kayz was inspired by many artists growing up, citing "Aaliyah, Missy Elliott, and Timbaland” as musical Inspirations & cited  “Nas, 2Pac, J. Cole and The genre R&B as a whole" as his biggest influences. 
Born and raised in Newark, Brick City, the largest city in New Jersey wasn't easy for Kayz. He's seen it all from shootouts to robberies, car theft to street hustling, but Kayz saw opportunity. Picking up the pen at age of 12 to write his first song ever was the escape from reality Kayz so eagerly craved. He didn't think one day he would be blessing people with his talent and love for music. 
Kayz B. Redd is still a rising star and seems to be headed in the right direction. He has his own production company 1HQ Productions as well as host a web series named "Drinkz Nd Friendz", which has garnered moderate success. Kayz has starred in the hit Japanese TV show "Boys Over Flowers" and played in the Rosario Dawson thriller "The Descent". He's been in a slew of web series and short films and will soon be directing his own big screen debut.
