Skylar Rose was born in Asheville, North Carolina, a small city located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. She was raised in an environment characterized by a diverse blend of country, folk, and alternative rock music. Growing up under the care of a single mother who held two jobs to provide for their household, Skylar found comfort and refuge in music from a young age. At the age of twelve, she independently learned to play the guitar and commenced writing her own songs in the privacy of her bedroom, utilizing music as a means to cope with the challenges associated with financial hardships. 2024 will see The Script tour internationally as special guests to P!NK before they add to a career total of 4 million ticket sales by embarking upon a huge UK and European headline arena tour in November. Having already achieved so much - 10 billion streams, 12 million album sales, 6 UK #1 albums - an exciting new chapter in The Script’s journey is underway, and the possibilities are endless.
