This track was just one of those bits of music  that sort of just came together. My dad had just died  a couple of days before and I suppose that maybe had some influence over it. Im not a piano player so it’s obviously nowhere near perfect but I quite like it though. Hope you sit in the dark and give it a listen.

Just a bit of a mess around with the proclaimers song, slowed down and it makes you really take the lyrics in. The Proclaimers sing it with almost a fun feeling to it but the lyrics seem to me that they were really personal. anyway enjoy.

California may have the largest contingent at the Republican National Convention in Cleveland, Ohio. But Californians who are there don’t feel very big, or important.  The team is staying in a hotel about 60 miles away from the Quicken Loans Arena and, if that’s not enough, there’s been a norovirus outbreak among staffers and volunteers.  KCRW’s Saul Gonzalez went out to the beachfront town, on the banks of Lake Erie, earlier today, and he joins Steve Chiotakis after returning to Cleveland.
