So far 2014 has seen The Love Junkies tour Australia four times, play their first international shows in Singapore and Vietnam, sign a deal with German-based label Siiick Records for their releases in Europe, and release their self -produced “Flight Test” EP with lead single Chemical Motivation.

Hot on its heels, The Love Junkies are now excited to announce the release of their new single “Television” from their upcoming second album “Blowing On the Devil’s Strumpet” (due for release in September).

Produced at the haunted Astor Theatre in the Perth Suburb of Mt Lawley by the band’s guitarist/singer Mitch McDonald, “Television” is another great example of the grunge-infused rock the band execute so well. “Television” introduces a new phase in The Love Junkies song-writing, bringing together the explosive urgency of previous single 'Chemical Motivation' with some skilful melody – to create a rollicking anthem to sing til it hurts.

The Night

I Was Dreaming is the debut single from Robert Muinos; but it is definitely not his first time around the block. Perhaps better known to the public as the disarmingly charming guitarist and backing vocalist in Melbourne's 9-piece soul rock extravaganza Saskwatch, Muinos has now stepped out on his own to showcase his talents as a singer-songwriter.

Having done the touring hard yards both nationally and internationally, Muinos has found time to turn his gaze to greater introspection. I Was Dreaming captures the sound of a band forged, not depleted by the road. You can hear the miles rolling by in the drums and bass groove, the late night' and hangovers in the yearning harmonica while the vocal melody seems to search for something naively optimistic. The lyrics allude to love but to whom exactly is the listeners guess...
