A showcase of fresh talent from the global electronic scene, Anjunadeep’s Explorations EP series returns for its nineteenth instalment, featuring Sascha Braemer, Mr. Sosa, Sinca, Moon Kyoo, MXV and Kaisland.

Kicking off the compilation is ‘Bad Behaviour’ from Berlin-based DJ and producer Sascha Braemer. Best known for his tracks ‘Caje’ and ‘Raoui’, Braemer’s decade long tenure has seen him released on labels including Get Physical, Kindisch and Stil vor Talent. Pairing Dom Fricot’s vocals with plucked synths, Braemer’s latest marks an exciting Anjunadeep debut.

Next up, Mr. Sosa, a British producer with releases on Last Night On Earth and Misplaced Records to his name, lands on Anjunadeep with ‘Euphoria’, a single showcasing his emotive production style. 

Based in Montreal, Sinca marks her artist debut with ‘Mancora’ - a euphoric track that leads with percussive-laden grooves and bright piano chords. Sinca’s latest affirms her positioning as an up and coming DJ and producer. 

Also marking his first release, South Korean producer Moon Kyoo touches down on Anjunadeep with ‘Between The Suns’. Leading with cascading melodies and pulsing basslines, Moon Kyoo’s latest showcases his detailed productions reminiscent of acts including Lane 8 and Ben Böhmer.

An intricate blend of intertwining synths and delicate chords, UK-based producer MXV delivers the emotive track ‘Only Want you’. MXV’s delicate sound design has seen him release on labels including Eat My Hat Music, Mango Alley and ICONYC.

Rounding off the compilation is Argentinian / US trio Kaisland with ‘Let The Rain Fall Faster’. Blending layered vocals with ‘80s-inspired synths, the trio demonstrate their chemistry as songwriters and producers.

Paris-based producer and live act Douran makes his Anjunadeep debut with the three-track EP ‘Sundancer’. His first two EPs, ‘Avalanche EP’ and ‘Rave To Infinity EP’, have amassed over 3m+ streams worldwide and gained press support including DJ Mag (France), Magnetic Magazine and Clash Magazine. 

Title track ‘Sundancer’ opens the EP, with soft piano melodies and ambient strings. ‘Slow Burner’ leads with an array of emotive strings whilst ‘Passing Lights’ features percussive-laden rhythms and warming vocals. Douran’s latest showcases his cinematic production style.

Dutch producer Steven Baan, aka Estiva, returns to Anjunabeats with his progressive two-tracker 'Rays / Aylu'.

Estiva is a name that’s become synonymous with high quality progressive music. By no means a stranger to our label, Estiva has already supplied four impressive remixes to our catalogue, including reworks of Daniel Kandi and Super8 & Tab. In October 2021, he released his first solo original material on Anjunabeats, the 'Sky EP'.

We're thrilled to welcome him back with 'Rays / Aylu', following 'Rays' getting a spin by Above & Beyond in their Group Therapy 500 deep set in October 2022.

Marking an impressive EP debut with a trio of outstanding tracks, Desaturate hit the Proton Music catalogues in January 2018 with "Wanderer". As Proton now returns to the EP, remixes from Greek and Norwegian talents provide a new outlook.

DJ and producer, Simos Tagias, has risen rapidly through the ranks of the underground dance fraternity to reach the upper echelons with veritable ease. An artist who has performed regularly across Europe and throughout his native Greece with spell-binding sets, Tagias' production career has seen him feature on a host of impressive imprints. A regular on the likes of Stellar Fountain, Balkan Connection and Movement Recordings, a remix of Michael and Levan and Stiven Rivic for Hernan Cattaneo's "Sudbeats 3" compilation was a notable highlight.

A regular on both the Particles and Proton Music imprints, the "Airlock" EP for the latter was a standout moment in early 2017 while remixes of Tim Penner, Luc Angenehm and Soulwerk illustrated another side of his production character. The Simos Tagias remix thus builds on the rhythmic mastery of "Wanderer" by taking the core components of Desaturate's track and reworking them into a new piece chock full of dancefloor dynamism bristling with melodic energy and fizzing percussion. Evolving effortlessly a driving bassline and acetylene lead pierce the mid-range, combined with shimmering chords to create a very special new interpretation.

Espen Gulbrandsen has witnessed a long association with electronic music. With his 'Espen' contraction, the Norwegian producer found success in the early noughties under the Recluse production moniker, with several appearances on Armin Van Buuren's "A State of Trance" compilations. Working under his own name from 2007, a double-century of production credits sit proudly next to the Espen name with regular appearances for such high-profile imprints as Looq, Silk Music and Stellar Fountain. Indeed, a remix of Oliver Lieb's "Wasp-17b" in July 2018 marked an impressive return to the label.

A pair of remixes for Particles in 2016 and 2017 saw reworkings of Omar El Gamal's "Escoz Me" and Rick Pier O'Neil and Desaturate's "Cursed", so it is therefore an honour to welcome Espen to Proton Music to remix Desaturate's solo work. Founded upon a strong, dominant kick and ticking hi-hat groove, a rich and sustained bass note provides the backdrop for a series of melodic phrases to rise up out of the rhythmic framework in rippling glory. Beautifully textured pads create a new sonic architecture that intelligently uses the themes inherent in Desaturate's original to dramatic effect.

A pair of remixes from Simos Tagias and Espen see Desaturate chart a bright new path in "Wanderer".

Renowned Spanish artist Dosem (real name Marc Ramirez) releases his new album ‘Dream Decoder’ today on Anjunadeep. A considered mix of ambient atmospheres and melodic techno, ‘Dream Decoder’ was preceded by album singles ‘Tower’, ‘Megacities’ and ‘Eternal Summer’. 

With DJ support from the the likes of Tale Of Us, Hot Since 82, Maceo Plex, Camelphat, Gorgon City and Solomun and tastemaker stations like BBC Radio 1, Triple J, and KCRW, Dosem’s newest LP is set to solidify his reputation as one of Spain’s premier dance producers. 

With releases on Anjunadeep, Toolroom, John Digweed’s Bedrock, and his own imprint Houstrike, Dosem is a global player. He’s headlined Boiler Room in Catalonia and recently performed at Sonar, Ultra Miami, FNGRS CRSSD, Tomorrowland, Printworks London, and ADE, to name a few.

‘Dream Decoder’ features 15 new tracks of atmospheric, driving house and techno. Delicate textures and progressions rooted in modular synthesis are showcased throughout the album; ‘Soul Window’ and ‘So Close So Far’ are reminiscent of seminal artists such as Vangelis and Georgio Moroder, whilst ‘Megacities’ and ‘Dream Decoder’ up the ante with the raw, unrelenting energy that fans of Dosem know and love.

Composed during long stays in Tokyo, ‘Dream Decoder’ explores the theory “that links dreams to parallel universes and alternative lives”. Dosem expands on how this theory and the bustling metropolis heavily inspired the album’s forward-facing and diverse sound:

"I have always found the world of dreams a fascinating subject. Not only have they had a strong impact in my life, but they have also served as a powerful creative tool in my career. During these most recent years, I dedicated myself to keeping a small journal to remember them and to use it as inspiration for my music. At first, they seemed like abstract stories with no connection between them, but little by little, I began to find a code that linked everything…”

“In recent years, I became interested in the practice of lucid dreaming. This technique took on particular relevance during my various stays in Tokyo - a place that has always transmitted to me that beautiful metaphor between dreams and reality. I came up with the idea of making an audiovisual tribute to this wonderful city. So I started taking photos of its streets and its architecture, which at some point, served also as a gateway for those dream experiences. In this way, each song represents a dream, an album made of stories between this world and other worlds. A journey that tries to decode the dialogue between the conscious and the unconscious through music."

Dosem’s fourth studio album ‘Dream Decoder’ is out now via Anjunadeep. A limited edition of ‘Dream Decoder’ LPs is available, consisting of five club mixes selected by Dosem.

A true force in electronic music, the Kool FM resident has spent over two decades pushing boundaries across genres, and he’s just signed a major 2025 album deal with London Records.

Known for blending House, Techno, and Jungle influences - balancing underground credibility with broad appeal - Shadow Child has left his mark on both club culture and the mainstream. A former BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM resident, his impact stretches far beyond the DJ booth. He’s played a key role in major hits, including the UK number one KDA’s ‘Rumble’, while also delivering cutting-edge releases on Shall Not Fade, Hot Creations, E-beamz, R&S, and Unknown to the Unknown.

With heavyweight support from Peggy Gou, Bonobo, Gerd Jansen and Carl Cox, 2025 is shaping up to be huge. His Jungle and Breakbeat-Rave inspired album drops late in the year, and we can’t wait for what’s next.
