The wait is over - PB4 is here. Perhaps one of the most revered album series in drum & bass is back with a vengeance, and some are saying it maybe the best yet. 

It’s hard to believe this is the debut track by Calibre on Metalheadz, and it’s already a firm dancefloor favourite thanks to its skipping drums and variants in bass. The drums have the unmistakeable Calibre air to them, the air that grabs you by the hips and demands you move and paired with the aforementioned screwface bass, it really is a foregone conclusion that you're going to move.

"Just" wastes no time locking the brisk rhythm into place before a wriggling earworm of a lead pans across the channels. Atmospheric swells are pieced by gatling-gun snares; the tension builds but never releases, making this a surefire precursor to the bulk of heavyweight set climaxes you're likely to hear this summer. He’s played a key role in major hits, including the UK number one KDA’s ‘Rumble’, while also delivering cutting-edge releases on Shall Not Fade, Hot Creations, E-beamz, R&S, and Unknown to the Unknown.

With heavyweight support from Peggy Gou, Bonobo, Gerd Jansen and Carl Cox, 2025 is shaping up to be huge. His Jungle and Breakbeat-Rave inspired album drops late in the year, and we can’t wait for what’s next.
