Our Aprés Skii Party at Shambhala this summer was a off the hook!  Originally we weren’t going to post our set because it contained a few of the same tracks as our Fresh Tracks Vol 2 mix and we wanted to release a mix with strictly new material.  However, after being overwhelmed by an avalanche of positive feedback & requests for this set, we caved in.  (For the record: There are only 5 of our original productions that have been repeated)

What you are getting in this mix are 47 tracks with 19 of those being original SkiiTour tracks/edits.

What you are missing is a blasting snow machine, a fired-up sea of dancers,  and the amazing MC work of Timothy Wisdom & Dash (from the Root Sellers).  You are also missing the technical glitches towards the end of our set when both our computers melted down from the extreme heat.

"Just" wastes no time locking the brisk rhythm into place before a wriggling earworm of a lead pans across the channels. Atmospheric swells are pieced by gatling-gun snares; the tension builds but never releases, making this a surefire precursor to the bulk of heavyweight set climaxes you're likely to hear this summer. One of the most charismatic pioneers of UK dance music, Skream, is back on the visionary label that is Crosstown Rebels. The momentous ‘You Know, Right?’ has been avidly searched for since it’s inception and will finally be released in November 2016.

This two track EP contains two innovative productions from the musical chameleon, pushing the boundaries of genre once again with breakbeat percussion, potent keys and a garage style vocal on the monstrous ‘You Know, Right’. The EP also features the techno soundscape ‘Minor Smooth’ on the B-side, which also is going down a storm.

We last saw Skream on Crosstown Rebels last year with the epic ‘Still Lemonade’, which gained high critical acclaim. Keeping the standards high the truly individual ‘You Know, Right?’ has already been heavily supported this summer by Jackmaster, Jamie Jones, Annie Mac, Steve Lawler and Damian Lazarus amongst others.

Starting out as one of dubstep’s first most prominent and prolific producers, Skream went on to achieve commercial success and critical acclaim with Magnetic Man alongside Artwork and Benga reaching no.5 in the UK Album Chart and reaching no.10 in the UK Singles Chart. More recently he has been releasing on his label Of Unsound Mind and as a sought after remixer on labels such as Boysnoize Records, Hot Creations and Watergate Records.

Debuting on Rekids, Laurent Garnier & Chambray collaborate for a colossal single entitled ‘Feelin’ Good’ featuring two outstanding remixes from label owner Radio Slave.

Having supported Rekids for many years in his sets across the globe, it only made sense for Laurent Garnier to drop one of his finest productions to date on the label. Although the legendary Frenchman has kept busy producing movie soundtracks (‘Paris Est A Nous’) and remixes in recent years, this is his first full release since 2017. He’s joined in the studio by Chambray, a Berlin-based producer known for releasing on Figure, Unknown To The Unknown and Jimmy Edgar’s Ultramajic.

Opening with sporadic battle cries, stabbing claps and powerful bass sequences before rapturous piano melodies come into effect – ‘Feelin’ Good’ is undoubtedly one of this year’s biggest tracks. On the flip, Radio Slave assembles two contrasting remixes that do just as much damage: the first is an atmospheric
number that marches forward using precision kicks, rattling percussion and rising pads, whilst the ‘Revenge Mix’ cranks things up a notch with its crunchy breaks before introducing the original’s blissful keys.
