The Silvers blend elements of psychedelic pop with blue-eyed soul, on their release of "Start of Something Good." This sunny mid tempo track features jangling rhythm guitar and sitar-like hooks with light piano and percussion playing overtop a stout backbeat in support of guitarist Dain Bedford-Pugh's easygoing lead vocal. Lush group backing harmonies bring this tune to life, reinforcing the topline and adding a layer of rich, savory texture to the arrangement. Incredibly optimistic lyrics convey themes of rebirth and positive change, ideas that are aptly reflected in the music itself.
