Für Weihnachten sollte es einfach mal was ganz anderes werden. Deswegen hab ich „Tales From The Woods“ gebeten mir was Besinnliches für den 24.12. zu vermischen. Dabei herausgekommen ist ein Swing-Set der besonderen Art.  Danke Eric für deine kreative Umsetzung … erstklassig.

Und sonst … naja ich wünsch allen meinen geneigten Hörern, Follower, Freunden und anderen Menschen eine ruhige oder feierreiche Zeit. Aber keine Angst eine Folge gibt’s noch in diesem 2015 … lasst euch überraschen.

Ein Klartraum oder auch luzider Traum (von lat. lux, lūcis „Licht“) ist ein Traum, in dem der Träumer sich dessen bewusst ist, dass er träumt. Der bedeutendste deutsche Klartraumforscher Paul Tholey formulierte das folgendermaßen: „Klarträume sind solche Träume, in denen man völlige Klarheit darüber besitzt, daß man träumt und nach eigenem Entschluß handeln kann.“ Bei dieser Definition stützte sich Tholey auf die Philosophin Celia Green und den Psychologen Charles Tart. Tholey und der US-amerikanische Psychologe Stephen LaBerge sind die beiden zentralen Pioniere auf dem Gebiet der modernen Klartraumforschung. Die Fähigkeit, Klarträume zu erleben, hat vermutlich jeder Mensch, und man kann lernen, diese Form des Träumens herbeizuführen. Ein Mensch, der gezielt Klarträume erleben kann, wird auch Oneironaut genannt (von griechisch: oneiros, „Traum“ und nautēs, „Seefahrer“).

My essential mix was created with a sunrise set on the robot heart bus in mind out at Burning man, 2015. I played the actual set at BM pretty much the same time this mix was broadcast on Radio one. Stavroz managed to create a wholesome, comforting soundtrack for a place, which no words can describe. Take a rest, lay down, close your eyes and listen to a story told in an orchestral fashion, with such profession and ear for details like Luise never heard before. Sie laufen an dicken Seilen den See hinauf um dahinter ein warmes Brot zu baden. Vielleicht haben sie es schon vergessen aber eben gerade war da noch dieses Tal ohne Hintergrund auf dem ein Bein versucht auf das andere. Aber das ist nun gestern. Ohne Widerworte stelle ich den Nachtisch auf grün und Klopfe gegen das Kopfkissen. Der Ton hallt blechern unter dem Boden hervor und bildet einen süssen Tropfen aus feinster Schokolade. Warum hat mir das keiner gesagt? Hier gehen immer alle zur selben Zeit die Uhr putzen um sie dann wieder auf die andere Seite zu bringen. Wann bekomme ich eigentlich mein Geld zurück? Ich muss mich wohl bei dem Stuhlbein entschuldigen. Es ist schon ganz unglücklich über den Samtbezug. Etwas mehr Gras muss wachsen damit man wieder richtig durchschauen kann, sonst klickt es immer aus dem Takt.

3 QUESTIONS to GIORGIA ANGIULI:

Q: Your artist-image is full of colours and toys. What´s the story behind your doings? And which one is your favorite toy?

A: I truly love sound toys, especially the vintage ones! I do believe that if you play with unusual magical objects, sounds can become even more fascinating. Using colors in music is fundamental to me. I am not a big fan of circuit bending and I prefer to play my toys using a microphone, adding some effects, as chorus, reverb, delay. At present my favorite toy is a frog-shaped keyboard from the 1960s.

Q: You´re based in Italy. How would you describe the electronic music scene in your country?

A: In my opinion Italy is one of the most beautiful country in the world and there are many talented artists. We are creative and positive people but unfortunately the environment we live in doesn’t seem to support the electronic music culture. In our country clubs must close their doors at maximum 5 am and there are just a few clubs with a good sound system. There is no space for young and underground artists and promoters invite generally only mainstream artists and there is no time for deep music. Usually the party starts with music at 125 bpm! Anyway I hope that things will get better soon!

Q: Which releases are coming soon on which labels?

A: Honestly I am a bit confused at the moment about my next releases. I find it complicated to understand dynamics behind the music market in general as things are changing so fast. I would like to release “timeless” music on a label that really means something to me, working with people with whom I can build a real human connection! For me music is a language that comes from the heart and should really connect people. I know that it sounds more like utopia but I believe in dreams! I have a lot of new music in my archives and I want to wait and choose the best place for these tracks.
