When I first started off making music I was always speaking fluently about the nature of life that I lived, but the way I did it my very first go around wasn't condescending towards the legacy I was wanting to carry for myself. The sound was appealing, but my message was being blocked out by it. I started over again and became as "Kwon Margiela". My music then had the bubble I wanted to grow into by being conscious, but i still felt like I was missing something like, I needed to stand out with music the same way I do as a person instead of following "A Lane". I was still growing. Over a period of time of perfecting my craft without releasing music I grew back into my senses feeling that the name I was working with just didn't fit. Therefore, I changed it up again. "Kwon" is original to myself as being part of my first name, but it wasn't gonna be further down the career line of making music and the "Margiela" part was just me being a dumb ass. I can't even explain fully why I did that so basically I then switched everything to my middle name "Shalom". Original to myself and to music. The music I've been conjuring up now is a mix of everything because just like myself my music isn't gonna have "A Lane" the only lane it will have is being the truth inside and out authentically. Music is music why should one person just create for a certain group.? If you're creating a sound shouldn't you want it to be enjoyable by as many people it could possibly reach? Why be stuck on one direction that'll eventually get old and would require you to switch to keep advancing? Same like your personality to life. You don't have the same mind frame everyday for everything you do.  Take your pick and enjoy.
