Founded in 2020 by Norwegians Espen Skog and Darius Arnesen from Drøbak, Bräindyne grew from a shared love of vintage computing and 8-bit sound. Blending heavy metal with retro electronic textures inspired by the Commodore 64 and Amiga, they began collaborating remotely during lockdowns, later releasing two EPs and expanding into darker, cinematic soundscapes.
