The band was formed in Leeds, UK in 2007 to take part in the Northern Battle of the Bands where they reached the finals. They recorded two EPs in 2009 and 2012. After parting company with several lead guitarists Charlie introduced Jon who brought experience of a Spanish number one single to his name. They are touring their 3rd EP and were listed as 1 of the top 20 bands in Leeds by Fred Perry.

Based out of Salt Lake City, Utah, The Magickal took years in the making. Dorian and Kami have known each other since middle school. They were two thirds of a synth pop band during their high school years. After some time apart pursuing other musical avenues, they have teamed up again.  Dorian is the maestro behind the synths, and Kami is the voice. We're highly influenced by 80's new wave, but we're not stuck there either. Our goal is to bring emotion, soul, and great songwriting back into electronic music. We do not make dance music... and that is not our goal. We make pop songs. That's why we love to collaborate with artists for remixes a lot. We JUST released our very first 10 track EP 'Surrender', and are again, hard at work finishing more songs right now. We have also been played on dozens of indie stations and podcasts. We released 9 brand new remixes of our song "The Ticket" on 'The Ticket... Transmuted'. See our website themagickal.com...

Missionary Fades is my solo project influenced by mainly 90's grunge and post grunge. All songs were performed and produced by me, recorded on Logic Pro from home. 

My music explores themes of the bipolar condition, despair, insecurity, falling, positive energy, growth, recovery and rebirth. The name "Missionary Fades" is about keeping faith in the face of turmoil. My main influences are Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Foo Fighters, Smashing Pumpkins, Stone Temple Pilots, Queens of the Stone Age, Living Colour and Skunk Anansie.
