Atlanta's HOT RAM is three piece Stoner Rock/Desert Rock/Doom/Sludge band formed in 2015.
They are currently gearing up for the release of their first full length album, called “Where Light Goes to Die”
“Where Light Goes to Die” is a reference to Atlanta's long time rock/punk/country club The Star Bar, where vocalist/guitarist Billy Konkel has been a soundman, for such bands as: Blackberry Smoke, The Dwarves, Jucifer, Brant Bjork, The Dickies, Murder Junkees, The Vibrators.
Konkel, then met future drummer Gordon White through a local band he was doing sound for. Finding out that he played drums as well as bass and guitar, they had lunch and started jamming out ideas through the late 2015. With a pending gig upcoming, Gordon brought in bassist Dee Flores, with whom had played with Gordon in a previous band.
After playing out throughout 2016, HOT RAM hunkered down and recorded the E.P. “Leave a Beautiful Corpse” in November and it was released in July 2017.
HOT RAM has opened for bands such as:
The Atomic Bitchwax, Ruby the Hatchet, Heavy Temple, Destroyer of Light, Goblin Cock, Long Live The Goat, Kings Destroy, Set & Setting,
Order of the Owl to name a few.
