'Last of the English Gentlemen is the pseudonym of musician Chris Shannon.
 His focus on poetic lyrics exploring love, lust, existential regret, reincarnation, and weatherworn tales of drunkenness and dissolution have drawn comparisons to Leonard Cohen and Nick Cave, with a pinch of early Tom Waits thrown in for good measure.
There are enough references to the literary pantheon to keep the beady-eyed busy, from Herman Melville to DH Lawrence, Shakespeare, and the Romantic poets.
LOTEG’s work is also tinged with biblical allusions that lend liturgical weight to his songs which, though often sorrowful, more often than not contain a glint in the eye and an ironic line that casts just enough light in the gloom.
‘If there’s one narrative thread in my songs, it’s that all things are cyclical, transient; we are all in a constant state of  transformation and growth. Everything is finite… even suffering. And that suffering is often worth laughing at.’''

Daniel Carlsson aka Dani-C is a Dj from Stockholm, Sweden. From an early age, he performed his own songs, which he wrote in school. From that time on, he knew that someday music and performance was going to be something he would do for the rest of his life. He had found his passion and calling.

In 1983, as a 12 year old, he took his first steps into Pipers, a big disco in Torremolinos, Spain. The atmosphere was euphoric. DJ was playing Kool & the Gang, "She's Fresh". The dance floor was moving/bouncing up and down. The coloured disco lights were striking him like thunderous lightening bolts from heaven! It was confirmed, Dani-C wanted to be a DJ.

Dani-C has a huge collection of vinyl, with covering many styles, but it was the electronic music from the end of the 80's that influenced him the most. 

For that reason, he started listening to Techno and Trance in the mid 90's. Artists like Oliver Lieb, Emmanuel Top, Etnica and X-Dream were almost Gods to him.

But as time went by... it was one artist and album, that infected him the most into his love of "Progressive House" today, and that was the one and only, UK Sasha... with his  Global Underground Ibiza...
