Recorded at the begging of 2017, we just couldn't let Christmas go! The Super-Krewe is a New Orleans style brass band doing it's thing up in the Pacific Northwest. This specific record originates from a gig we got hired to play in December of 2016. Being Christmas themed, we learned a handful of songs (that everybody already knows) and put our own spin on them. The gig went well. We've got pictures with a Reindeer to prove it. Hope you enjoy!

Super-Krewe \ noun \ ˈsü-pər - ˈkrü: A group of passionate musicians & entertainers from the Northwest music scene exploring the rhythmic and melodic realms of pocket, groove and space with intention and conviction behind every note. They have but one goal - to get you struttin' yo stuff!

super \ ˈsü-pər \ adjective
1: a - of high grade or quality b - used as a generalized term of approval
2: very large or powerful a super atomic bomb
3: exhibiting the characteristics of its type to an extreme or excessive degree super secrecy
krewe \ ˈkrü \ noun
a private organization staging festivities (such as parades) during Mardi Gras in New Orleans

The band performs original pieces and arrangements, heavily rooted in the improvisational traditions of New Orleans Jazz, Blues and Funk. The band platform acts as a melting pot for the ‘Krewe’ to bring together their collective musical ideas, experiences and energy to create new and unique sounds, textures and feelings unique to every performance. 

The band lineup consists of veteran road-dogs with national & international experience performing on some of the world’s most awe inspiring music venues and stages alongside artists such as Macklemore, ODESZA, Allen Stone, March Fourth Marching Band, The Seattle Symphony/Opera, Monophonics, Polecat, the True Loves and the Lucky Brown Band.. just to name a few.
