"Never Knew You Existed" is released February 10th 2023. It is the second single from the upcoming album "Whispers Of Woe" from which 12 singles are being released in the 12 months of 2023 and the album follows on December 15th. "Can't Be Explained" is the 9th single of the year of 2023 from the upcoming album "Whispers Of Woe". The song has a lovely tempo, the most chilled on the album. It has a lovely play off between major and minor in the chorus and a lovely message about travelling far and wide searching for answers, to discover the answers were there all along, right in front of you

Beefy riffs, groove and some great hooks, “waiting in the wings” is one of our favourite tracks on our latest album due out this jan 26th. This is our 11th single of the year and has a lot of similarities to our biggest track/the song we are best known for that has over 1.6m streams on one streaming platform alone  : So serious. We are independent, unsigned and have spent 4 years crafting this, the videos for every song, the artwork (over 200 pieces created related to the themes/songs/lyrics). This has been the biggest undertaking we’ve ever done and any help with spreading the word would be invaluable. The song has also had great depth with a forboding middle 8 and uniqely poppy verse. The Survival Code - Broken Strings - released September 25th

Biog:

The Survival Code, formed of Gary McGuinness (Lead Vocals and Guitar) and Tom Cook (Vocals and Drums) is an alt-rock band based in London. 

With influences ranging from Johnny Cash to the Deftones, this successful group have gathered a loyal fanbase as they gigged across the UK and Ireland over the last 4 years headlining some amazing venues and opening for some very talented acts.

The band have become known for their energetic and unforgiving live shows. Nothing is ever left on the stage with this lot! 

Lead singer Gary is the project’s driving force and song writer. A classical guitar scholar and skilled drummer originally from Dublin, he drummed in successful alt-rock bands for over a decade before moving to London in 2010 to see if a dent could be made in the UK music scene. 

After meeting and collaborating with Tom Cook, a talented drummer and Pete Agnelli (the bands original Bassist), The Survival Code was born. (Currently Chema plays bass with the band).

An EP “Everything but today” came in 2013 and was followed with their’ debut album “MMXV” in 2015 through “IRL” - “Strong Debut Album” Rocksound Magazine // “MMXV is a strong debut album, an absolute must for rock music fans” - Rocksins

This year is all about the 3 track EP entitled “Broken Strings” which will feature two lead singles, the first of which is the title track “Broken Strings” due on the 25th of Sept through IRL. 

The band will be gigging at venues in the UK and Ireland throughout the rest of the year. Dates are below.

On Broken Strings, the band said: "The song is based from a line that we find very poignant from a poem by an indian/Bengal Rabindranath Tagore”

His poem:
