Jean-Lamar Thimot was born and raised on the south side of Chicago. At a young age, music was always influential. From Hip-Hop, to Alternative, R&B even Oldies, down to Caribbean influences, such as Reggae and his culturally influenced Haitian Kompa, Jean-Lamar has always been a true individualist with a heart of eclecticism. He began writing poetry and lyrics during his teenage years in order to hone his craft of creativity. Channeling artists such as Nas, Tupac, Notorious B.i.G., Jay -Z , The Fugees, and others from similar genres of music, he became increasingly enthused with the idea of being an artist himself. Over the years, he has gained musical and inventive knowledge from upcoming artists to sound engineers, to leading members of the industry to enhance his delivery and transition of his message to the masses. He brings years of experience, and with that he'll bring you to the state of euphoria. The creative messages through his music include, from political correctness to relationship issues, to not caring what societal pressure can be bestowed upon you... truly a multifaceted maverick of his time.

The Terms is a cumulation of songs years in the making by multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriter Marjan Agicic.  Drums and bass support an alternative/pop piano/synth sound that’s lyrically rich and melodically driven. Despite forgoing the electric guitar, you'll walk away feeling rocked!
