Welcome back, dear listener. It's a pleasure to have you here. 

So, wheels are in motion and guess what? We got multicultural top selecta Lotte Ahoi to start the year off right. 

With her recording from Plan:et C - Beta 2021, she gently leads our imagination to a soothing garden of colorful music, where every flower represents a track carefully planted and nourished. As you wander and smell the fresh air, you feel that you can call this your home and come back anytime you want.

When listening to this experienced digger, you notice a potpourri from so many directions, yet, what has always remained constant in her mixes is the rather relaxed rhythm and lots of melody she swings. For years we keep falling in love with her mixes, as we align with her philosophy that musical boundaries only exist in our heads.

In order to understand what moves her and her listeners, one has to imagine the nature of a sloth – a sloth that loves music but hates stress, instead choosing to hang on a tree, watching the flowers grow and waiting for the sun to shine in her ears.

Lotte, we thank you for your never-ending search for diamonds in the rough, slowly weaving them together in a slowmomoving and sneakily surprising wave of Funkumbiafrorientropical Slothdisco (yeah, that's right). 

Shout out to @urbancosmonautradio, a distinguished label and mix series that she runs with Burntale, which keeps being an inspiration for Tepeme.

Our Hupupa has been spending some time in the magik Mexico's land finding out this special "donwtempero" brother based in Mexico City! Victor, aka Zac, is one of the downtempo's pioneer of the local scene; he has been initiating our mexican journey, sharing his deep knowledge about Pre-Hispanic culture, inviting us to stay in his warming nest and lovely family. 

Dj, producer and host at @wiphalasound, Victor, a pure downtempo's soldier, has compiled this special tribute to hiphop, breaks and grooves including mistical voices from Mos Def, Cypress Hill, Ana Tijoux, Dj Muggs, B Real, Dr. Dre, A Tribe Called Quest, Jurassic 5, Notorious Big, Wu Tang Clan, Marrs y Technotronic, re-interpretated by contemporary electronic music makers as @kalunet, @matijaweiss, @philipp_fein, @lucamusto, @mmakossa, @theoddness, @intiche and more.

Wir haben Chuchi und ihre einladenden, schmoofen Sets mehrmals live erlebt; beim HOPPLA! Festival, beim Tropen Tango oder bei unserem Schachtelhalmdisko Open-Air. Umso mehr freuen wir uns, dass sie mit einem tollen und sehr entspannt aufgebauten Mix in unserer Panama.Kanal Reihe dabei ist!

Chuchi ist Teil von Kollektiv Schöne Töne Frankfurt und Permakultur Schwanheimer Düne e.V. In ihrer noch jungen DJ Laufbahn hat sie zusammen mit ihrem Partner flipflop oder solo schon einige Festivals bespielt. Bevorzugt tagsüber lädt sie ihre Zuhörer*innen ein, ihren musikalischen Geschichten zu folgen. Ihre Reisen führen dabei von mystischer Folklorica über Medicine Songs und Hippiemusik bis hin zu alten Liedern, die Kindheitserinnerungen wach werden lassen und das Herz berühren.

Mit ihrem Mix Changes will Chuchi in diesen merkwürdigen Zeiten ein Zeichen setzen und den Menschen Inspiration geben: Die Atempause der Zivilisation auch zu nutzen sich auf die wirklich wichtigen Dinge zu besinnen. Den Zusammenhalt der Menschen zu stärken und ein besseres Leben im Einklang mit der Natur zu erschaffen. Die Gedanken formen die Wirklichkeit. Wenn viele Menschen kollektiv die gleiche positive Zukunftsvision teilen, dann kann der Traum Wirklichkeit werden. Chuchi is part of Kollektiv Schöne Töne Frankfurt/ Germany and Permakultur Schwanheimer Düne e.V. In her still young DJ career she already played together with her partner flipflop or solo at several festivals. Preferably during the day she invites her listeners to follow her musical stories. Her journeys lead from mystical folkloric beats, medicine songs and hippie music to old songs that bring back childhood memories and touch the heart.

With her Mix ≈Changes≈ Chuchi wants to set an example in these strange times and give people inspiration: To use the breathing space of civilization to reflect on the really important things. To strengthen the cohesion of people and to create a better life in harmony with nature. Thoughts form reality.
