Lindsey Herbert es una figura prominente de la escena techno actual, especialmente conocida en el suroeste de EE.UU. por su inquebrantable dedicación a los sonidos y el diseño sonoro más underground del techno, y su capacidad para congregar multitudes sin importar las circunstancias.  

Lindsey comenzó como una joven raver con una intensa pasión por la música de baile y su comunidad, comenzó su propio viaje musical a la edad de 15 años y ha estado en él durante casi la mitad de su vida. Desde su primera actuación en 2014, ha sido una fija junto a artistas de primer nivel en las bulliciosas escenas de Los Ángeles y San Francisco, dejando una huella indeleble en ambas ciudades. Originalmente residente y booker de Robot Ears y ahora residente de Direct to Earth, Lindsey ha sido una parte integral del paisaje techno de San Francisco, mientras que también ha adornado los escenarios de prominentes promotores de Los Ángeles como OBSERVE, Synthetik Minds, 6AM, Dirty Epic, RE/FORM y más. Su influencia se extiende más allá de las fronteras con constantes actuaciones como cabeza de cartel tanto a nivel nacional como internacional, mientras que su más reciente reubicación en Phoenix la ve nutriendo activamente a la comunidad techno local como residente de Techno Snobs. 

En 2019, Lindsey hizo su debut como productora en solitario en Ascetic Limited de Los Ángeles, marcando el comienzo de un prolífico viaje en el estudio. Su discografía ha crecido exponencialmente, con recientes gotas en estimados sellos underground estadounidenses como Truncate, 4-Trk, Blank Code, Northern Parallels y Crisis of Man, así como notables sellos europeos y sudamericanos como Noise Manifesto, Planet X, NECHTO, Suara y muchos otros. El futuro es aún más prometedor, con innumerables lanzamientos en el horizonte.

Sin embargo, la trayectoria de Lindsey va mucho más allá de su carrera como productora. Cabe destacar que en 2023 actuó en los escenarios del Movement Festival de Detroit y en el emblemático Tresor de Berlín, lo que consolidó aún más su presencia en la escena mundial. Además, fue invitada personalmente por la lumbrera del techno Richie Hawtin para hacer una gira por Norteamérica como parte de su concepto From Our Minds, consolidando aún más su estatus en la industria. 

El sonido personal de Lindsey ha evolucionado hacia un estilo más hipnótico, groovy y orientado a la pista de baile. Sus sets, que van del ambient al deep, pasando por la hora punta y la alta energía, están meticulosamente elaborados para adaptarse al ambiente, con el objetivo de sumergir a los oyentes en un viaje cautivador y encerrarlos en un groove implacable.

Known for blending the soul of Techno with a modern, unorthodox approach, Temudo's music is characterised by gritty, futuristic sounds, with a signature motif resembling a rusty crank pounding into a brick wall. In 2023, Temudo embarked on a new journey into live performance, delivering spontaneous sets that challenge traditional expectations. Each live set is a unique, improvised act where he pushes the boundaries of Ableton to its sonic limits. 

"The main idea is that the music of that recording didn’t exist before the performance itself. It was all created on the flow, one idea after the other, through the control of sequencers, Lfos, arpeggiators and other complex midi processing, as well as virtual synthesizers and sound processors. I would have an idea playing for the audience, and would prepare the next one (by pre listening on the headphones) and would eventually blend both."

Last saturday was really special to me. In 1997 i´ve played my first Live Set ever at the old Tresor in Berlin as DisX3. Now for their 25th Label Birthday, Tresor invited me to play a special DisX3 DJ Set. I´ve spent 3 weeks of preparing all the old Tracks that made me dance when i was a young boy and went to Tresor almost every Weekend. So for me this DJ Set was kind of time travel.
