Storyshift — One Bloodbath

Couple days ago I got really bored and summoned this out of my bowels.
Everything's remade from memory (except for the square and brass sections, which I copied from an older flp of mine), so if something's inaccurate I don't really care to be honest.
You could consider this a cover, but I'm not sure if it's different enough to count? I didn't change the scores too much

I think this is the best mixing I've done (so far) on a song, no odd limiter nonsense and the drums actually sound really good for once (In my opinion.........)
I've definitely improved a lot (compare this to my last Megalovania cover... dear god... go listen to that one and then compare.)
If it's quiet, turn your volume up. You control the volume knob

Random tidbits:

- This is the first song I've actually completed that uses Addictive Drums 2, specifically the "United Heavy" ADPak. When I finished writing the drum track I used the FL humanize function so it sounds live(ish) but I'm not a master at programming drums so it might be a bit iffy. I was also a little scared to crank the humanize knob up too far so I dunno, might sound like I did nothing

- I purchased Kontakt so this uses Shreddage X and Shreddage Bass. Somehow only took me a little under a month to fully master it. The rhythm guitar is quad tracked and I used powerchords for the solo.

- Yes, it has the harp.

- I was gonna include a lead guitar solo but an issue occured when I realized had to write a lead guitar solo

I'm probably going to make one of these every 12-ish months just to mark progression in skill, with more adjustments in mixing and composure along the way. I'm not gonna start adding smash megalo stuff or anything, I'd like to keep it feeling like an improvement to the UT Megalovania instead of a subjective cover (if that makes sense)

Heya, it's time for another S3 proto track! ^-^

This week it's Ice Cap 1, which is actually one of my favourite tunes from the batch, though I really didn't like how it was sounding in the beta since it just sounded really empty. It's one of the few that actually sounds better in the PC version lol.

The goal of this remixing project was to make the beta tracks sound a lot more finished than they were in the beta. To be fair to the originals, they were in a beta state however I still wanted to tackle these tracks anyway since they're full on bops! :P

For all of the S3 proto remixes, I used VOPM and SN-EMU whilst keeping strictly to the Mega Drive's limits (for compatibility's sake)...

...prank'd lmao, this one was made with Genny Beta because this was the first S3 proto track I did, and I realised I kinda needed pitch bends for most of the tracks so i changed to VOPM afterwards.

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
This details an ending in which Frisk ruins their streak of pacifism right before the end, slaying the celebrity robot Mettaton on live television. Toriel has taken her ex-husband's place after his death, and she struggles to maintain morale in an increasingly wary underground. Humans are to be treated not as enemies, but as friends. At least...in theory.

Sans takes the role of Mettaton. Mettaton himself was the most devastating loss to the Underground, and they needed a new morale boost to fill the Mettaton-shaped holes in their Mettaton-shaped hearts. In comes standup comedian Sans—hotdog vendor by day, side-splitting jokester by night. He’s no superstar, but he’s doing his best…he’s got big and very high heeled shoes to fill.

A: I consider "Chara and Asriel swap" to be my primary music project. There's more such as "Chaos Kings" and "Doused Flames". Upcoming project might be "Toriel and Asriel Swap" or "Mettaton and Asgore Swap". I'm not sure, but you can decide which one too based on what you're interested with.
