The backing and the meter of the lyrics really gives a floating sensation and that the observer has plenty of time to consider what's going on below. 'Fresh air' is ironic, given the singer is inside a space capsule reliant on good air filtering.

Also loved the oriental sounding instrumental/outro!

Another Hot Day Here is me just having some fun.

These old arthritic fingers had a hard time playing the rhythm guitar.  Thankfully Melodyne came to the rescue and fixed my mistakes. I am also playing the lead guitar and via my breath and keyboard controller the Swam tenor sax. Band-in-a-Box is supplying all but the drum tracks using my sound sources.  The drum track is from Groovemonkee MIDI 
drum loops using my SSD-5 jazz drum kit.

If you are interested in wanting to know how/why I came up with that title keep reading, otherwise just play the song.

For the last couple of weeks it has been running hotter than normal here. When it gets this hot I can not longer work outside so I stay inside in the air conditioning and make music. The past two days it has been colder than normal so I got outside.  Today it rained so I could finish this song.

Another Hot Day Here

A piece of melancholy about being an introvert and needing a certain amount of time to myself. It was written to a songwriting challenge to use ascending or descending lines.

Spirited Gypsy Jazz number in the style of Django and Grappelli but with somewhat of a modern arrangement.

Blondie Played (with Joliz)

Phantasy Island is 3.5 nautical miles north west of Gillian's Island. 

Seriously this is the first time I have ever tried to record an orchestral piece.  All sounds are from Eastwest's Fantasy Orchestra. Via my keyboard I am playing all of the melody instruments. Band-in-a-Box is supplying the balance of the tracks, some I modified to better fit the song, using my sound sources.

You be the judge on how well I did.
