Wie seid ihr beiden eigentlich zum Auflegen gekommen, fragen uns die Leute? Hier kommt sie, unsere kleine, zuckersüße Geschichte!

Lusatia Festival 2021, Samstagmorgen, die Nacht war lang. Plötzlich standen wir nebeneinander auf dem Floor und schauten uns an. Chris? Anna? Was machst du denn hier?  

Überrascht waren wir eigentlich nicht, um so schöner war das Wiedersehen. Eyyyy, lass uns mal bald zusammen auflegen, ok? Ok! 

Lusatia Festival 2022, 5 Tage vor Festivalbeginn. Chris: Anna, hier gibts so nen Popupfloor, ich hab nen Slot für Samstagnacht bekommen. Wollen wir das zusammenmachen? JA, let's do it!

Unser erster Auftritt vor fremden Menschen, so viel Spaß, so tolles Feedback. Wie krass wäre es, hier nächstes Jahr auf einer offiziellen Bühne zu spielen, träumten wir...

With several releases on various streaming platforms, he is currently working on his upcoming EP slated for release later this year. 

For our exclusive session, Sant Ph has curated a truly unique set, blending the dark and synthetic vibes of Dark Disco and Indie Dance with an eclectic mix of vocals from house and classic rock tunes. 🤟🏼🪩

**Welcome Home beim SUBGROUND TALK,** **unserem Podcast für die elektronische Musikszene!**

Für Folge #9 hat sich der Produzent und Live Artist Holly North mit unserem Host Moritz in Berlin getroffen. 

Holly kennt ihr vielleicht von seinen mitreißenden Live-Gigs oder seinen digital erfolgreichen Tracks mit Ohrwurm Potenzial. Gebürtig aus Greifswald und aus einer musikalischen Familie stammend, begann er schon früh mit dem Cello-Spielen. Holly fand in seiner Jugend über seine Band, und das IKUWO Anschluss in die linke Szene Greifswalds. Das Fusion Festival, Greifswalder Feten und das Berliner Nachtleben brachten ihn dann zur elektronischen Musik, die ihn schnell begeisterte. Mittlerweile produziert er seit der 11. Klasse selbst Musik und versucht mehrere Stunden täglich darin zu investieren.

Nach seinem Abitur zog es Holly zum Politikstudium nach Berlin und später nach New York, immer begleitet von seiner Leidenschaft für Musikproduktion. In 2016 lud er zum ersten Mal seine Tracks öffentlich auf SoundCloud hoch und seit 2021 released er regelmäßig Alben und EPs. Besonders liebt er es, live aufzutreten und seine Songs immer wieder neu zu interpretieren und zu vermischen.

This time it's all about live mashuping. I've played roughly 19 tracks in 34 minutes; 4 decks playing simultaneously. Except for 2 or 3 small parts, they were all looped to 4 to 16 bars.  The goal was to keep the mix interesting though the tracks were in a repetitive loop.

Actually, i get bored pretty fast. So i came up with a complete new live/dj-setup for 2017 ... 

After hours of hours and a whole lot of sleepless nights of building my new "spaceship" in Ableton, it really sounds much better and clearer than my old Traktor + Ableton-Setup! Best of all, it gives me the possibilities to dj and play live the way i like it.

So this is me playing my recent sound on CDJs … after playing years with a digital Traktor or Ableton setup.
