My name is Phil Dipple. I am a Bass Player but at 73 have retired from performing and now concentrate on recording.  I have played in many semi- pro bands over the years and done a lot of recording on my own and with the band ‘Meet on the Ledge’.  Also The Earl Grey Band. I write most of my songs and a good friend who writes poetry let’s me put his poems to music and record them.  The album. ‘look out Girl’ has a variety of tracks to suit all musical tastes. I'm a composer/arranger based in Warwickshire, UK - studied music at the University of East Anglia.  Presently doing freelance work.

Mostly work in classical/contemporary instrumental and electronic works, but also varied soundtracks and jingles.

My discography includes works for chamber and orchestral ensembles but have been experimenting more with electro-acoustics.  I've also written several scores for short films and video game projects but always interested in new requests - if you need a soundtrack doing for film or game, or know of anyone who may need one and you think I may be appropriate, then do let me know!
