4 Friends, Scattered By The Wind Of Life meet up for A Jam - And Recorded It.

Over 50 Original Tracks Written & Recorded in Less Than 8 Hours - 'On The Fly'  One Take!

We enjoyed the session so much we did it again and recorded even more of them !

Well over a hundred tracks in only a day.

This Collection Of Tracks Is the result of a Reunion & Jam Session (Not a Pro Recording Session) In Our Home Town of Macclesfield. 

I'ts sad how life can make you drift away from your roots.
This happened to us, George lives in London, Nick in Bristol, Paul in Cambridge & Jools in Manchester, 
A reunion was hinted at then a reunion jam planned in 2010.
Although we were all friends we had never been in a band together & we hadn't played together in this line-up so thought it would be fun to all meet up and have couple of beers and a Jam, 
So we Did - at a brewery... 
Although the PA got taken away halfway through the session, everyone enjoyed it so much we decided to have another jam at our historic place of making music, the 'Mens Den Barber Shop' (Paul's dads shop) and record it, 
So we did! 
Paul took the recordings home, trimmed off the chit chat and very roughly mixed them.
This is the result 

Unfortunately due to some idiot visiting us and making the place stink to high heaven while we were jamming , we were banned from the Den, Kindly Jake Evans let us use his place for the 2013 Jam, nice one Jake.
The Jams continued back at the Barber Shop in 2014 thanks to Roberts kind understanding.
These haven't been trimmed yet due to a technical malfunction, but yet again, dozens of great ideas flowed.

There seems to be a unique inspirational chemistry between these guys and this has proven to be consistent.

GRAPHINE aka Glass Rockstarr:
We thought a name would be fun for the pretend band, Jools always wanted a band called Glass,  so we tried that, Unfortunately there are loads of bands with that name already so we tried Glasss, then Glasss Rockstarr.
Graphene seemed a little less awkward and as it is clear, strong & flexible seemed very apt.
 
In The Spirit Of "1,2,3,4 - Let's See What Happens, Don't Stop Just Keep Playing and bounce off each other...."

Each Track as written 'On The Fly' With No Preconceptions or Working Out Beforehand.

Well it looks like this site has changed quite a bit lol. I guess the best thing to do is hit "TRACKS",  SC gets to choose your top tracks(which could be your worst loI)
I love the community that I have found in Sound Cloud. How great is it to show our music to each other? So wonderful to have built relationships with many of you. I look forward to hearing new tracks very much but miss them on the stream no doubt, PLEASE send me your track if you got something you are proud of, I would love to hear it!!!  I have been broadened musically each time I press play and appreciate more than words the feedback I have received on my tracks. I will reciprocate to anyone who spends time here because after we start commenting on each others tracks, we are no longer followers but friends. The amount of followers doesn't matter in the slightest. What matters are the friends who care enough to share in each others creations.  Hey, I know I have a weird sound and I can be hard to listen to but when I recorded it  I was alive, I felt it and I did it!! :)
