“Wagon Wheel” is the first cover we’ve recorded. Originally by Old Crow Medicine Show (and appropriate copyrights to them, as well as to Bob Dylan), and made somewhat popular by Darius Rucker of Hootie and the Blowfish fame. This version is our little twist on it, with Cara, Charlie, and Phil each taking a verse and everyone chiming in for the chorus.

Heading to the south out of Roanoke, caught a trucker out of Philly, had a nice long toke.

The Treacherous French are an eclectic indie rock band hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area. The songs they write are catchy yet complex, while staying true to their indie, blues, country, and alt-rock roots. The lineup consists of a group of four multi-instrumentalists from differing backgrounds ranging from folk rock to punk rock to dance rock to Celtic jazz folk fusion. The standard lineup of rock band instruments is well represented: bass, guitar, drums, vocals, keys - but if you listen closely, you may hear some twists as well: accordion, mandolin, harmonica, glockenspiel, washboard, kalimba - and this blend of styles and instrumentation is what makes The Treacherous French what it is.
