Mr. Shakir is a WMU Bronco and after he left, I would pick him up at the Kalamazoo Amtrak station for him to bang classic Sunday nite Alpha parties at Electric Avenue in the Fall of 1989.  Shake is a friend, Big Brother, mentor and a significant contributor to the Detroit Techno sound.  We love you Big Bruh!
