I said load it in the pot and open up the oven

On Christmas night with you family at home,
Everybody knows: on the telephone 
You call a friend up - twice! - in the night
And everybody’s coming to party tonight.

I say big big food on the tabletop
I said everybody’s eating and you don’t need a mop
Because you’ve got a big mouth and you’ve got a full belly,
And when you’re done you know fool it’s smelly hey!

Bethlehem on the night we’re talking about,

Jesus was a carpenter to some
But everybody knows he had something to say.
He was a righteous carpenter

And everybody’s coming and that’s okay.
