Scotland’s shining young talent is more present than ever with Frazi.er. The Glaswegian producer has captured the ears of many and has developed the international recognition he deserves with his raw, energetic sound. 

Frazi.er’s experience focused club nights recently sold out The Hydro, one of the biggest arenas in Europe. In fact, the open to close at SWG3’s “Galvanizer '' warehouse sold out two dates in less than quarter of an hour, completely crashing Resident Advisor’s website. He most recently announced his ‘TRANSPARENCY’ concept show, with two initial dates in Glasgow this May bank holiday, but first, for a tasty Easter weekender you can find him on the main stage at Terminal V.

After his debut on Crisis Of Man earlier this year, on the label VA – Frazi.er is back with his ‘Youth Culture’ EP, a massive 4 track offering with a gargantuan remix from Possession resident Hadone.

Opening with title track ‘Youth Culture’ its breakneck drums pound as percussive sonics add a melodic, almost psy-trance edge. Hadone’s remix takes a very different path, stripping the original back and adding a side chained drone to the low end and working the vocal. Detroit-y pads midway add a sense of hopefulness. 

‘Rave Scene Exploitation’s Industrial drums and scattergun hats create tension onto which Frazi.er expertly adds a huge melodic top line that comes from nowhere. ‘Transparency’ (NRG Tool Mix) does exactly what it says on the can. Acting very much as a bridging tool, it quickly gets up the speed without ever overcooking. 

Finally, ‘Take Me Away’ explodes from the speakers from the first enormous kick drum. Eerie saw-toothed synths take the lead as the track builds up before dropping back to thunderous drums before the main break. It’s a wild ride!
