Kirtan Sessions was an album that I released in 2012. Weaving together the ancient with the NOW. Where kirtan and sacred mantra meets dub, hiphop, and reggae. Being the first real album that I ever came out with, it was a magical journey of sacred expression. Meanwhile getting to collaborate with MC's and musicians that I was associating closely with at the time. As time went on and my skills in production increased, I began to cringe when I listened to the mixing and mastering on the project. Which lead me to KIRTAN SESSIONS - REWORKED. 

In this renewal, you may find that tracks have a whole new feel and taste to it. Some tracks ( like Hey Govinda and You Are The Lover) have been given a whole new beat structure and vibe. While others have just been touched up to make a cleaner more potent sound. Remastered... a bit remixed... fully reworked. 

I hope you enjoy these healing sound vibrations laced with beats and bass.

Son of a humble composer and fractal scientist, Ian Mckenna aka Craftal has furthered the family legacy with his algorithmic approach to computer music. In only a few short years his productions skills have improved at exponential rates. Comparable to the likes of Spoonbill and Bogtrotter with an ever present sonic homage to the one like Dave Tipper. With regular underground sound system appearances and several key performances in the Denver area Craftal has become somewhat of a hometown hero. His recent relocation to Evergreen College in WA for sound design will only sharpen his skills for further explorations into sound. WIth great honor we present to thee Craftal's freshman EP "Unfurlurling".

Hey everybody!  This was my submission for the Tipper and Friends DJ competition to play at Tipper's festival in April of 2016.  This mix features four unreleased tunes as well as two from my last release with Merkaba.  The <3 and repost button help out with the contest.  Enjoy!

Big thanks to Dave and congrats on having the festival.  Tipper has set the benchmark and greatly inspired myself and so many others with his meticulously crafted music.  This set is an ohmage to him.

First, I gotta give a huge thank you to everyone who's supported/listened to my music over the past few years. I don't make this obvious too often but I'm incredibly grateful for all of y'all and I honestly don't know where I'd be without you people. 

Although I'm super relieved to be able to call this thing finished, it's been a rewarding and unforgettable experience. I think I'd be lying if I said that I enjoyed making this EP 100% of the time, but that's not to say I wouldn't do it 100x over again. I hope you guys enjoy this debut project, as well as the many projects to come. 

Also huge s/o to @verzache for helping me w this thing and for being an all around awesome guy
