"Patterns" performed live by Ghosts of Jupiter on January 31st, 2014 at the Beach House in North Falmouth, MA.  Multitrack soundboard recording in Presonus Capture, edited in Presonus Studio One.  Editing was performed to level tracks out for playback, and add fades only.  Live effects produced through Studio One via firewire 800 through Presonus 32.4.2AI SBD.

Last month we premiered a brand new cut from UK producer Riton and the track that came via Ed Banger records showcased his wonky electro sound. His next release solidifies his position as an always evolving talent.

He's secured the vocal talents of Meleka and for 'Inside My Head' and he's also got a banging set of remixes locked in by the likes of Bag Raiders, Bot and Aeroplane. Today we focus on Belgian talent Aeroplane's remix and the €urocrats boss has gone to town with his rework.

We have the premiere of Vito De Luca's remix and you can expect mischievous basslines that are layered with Meleka's soothing vocals and some typical Aeroplane synths. Get on this.

So I really love the original, but something in my brain makes me imagine robot noises over everything I listen to. The vocal on this is so beautiful, so ethereal, and all I can think is GLITCH IT UP. Really happy with how this one came out though, it makes me feel like I'm cliff diving off into the glassy Mediterranean waters, and then like partying with robot dolphins and sea horses and shit. Yeah I don't know either

We've been freaking out over Jimkata ever since we premiered "Beat The Curse" from the band's Feel In Light release earlier this year. Now, it comes full circle as we get the jump on the remixes from the EP, which are collected as Remix In Light, 8 tracks of the four piece's best friends in the biz, each taking a hack at the indie electro rock quartet's sunny songs.

Stephen Learson of The Indobox remixes "Swimming In The Ocean" as Psychic Spies. The two bands, Jimkata and Indobox, have shared a nearly decade long friendship as the two acts have criss-crossed the country together on multiple occasions.

"Evan [Friedell]'s voice has improved to the point where he can put down the guitar and belt it out like Freddy Mercury," Learson noted. "'Swimming In The Ocean' was the song that inspired me the most."

Psychic Spies takes a RAC-meets-Talking Heads approach to the cut that injects the shimmering tune with a gently bobbing nu-disco feel. The resulting remix fits perfectly into the neo-house aesthetic that is sweeping the industry. A sure sign that the rest of the album has potential far beyond the Jimkata fan base, alone.

Here it is.... the 3rd chapter of #HeavenTrap Music!!!! This moment.... marks a great step forward for our community. This song came to be in a very inspiring way. About a month ago we went on Soundcloud and searched the tag "Heaven Trap".... to our surprise we saw tons of you guys are making it!! It was truly amazing to see, and we can't thank you guys enough for supporting our sound. One of these tracks was made by Party Thieves, and it stood out strongly amongst the rest. That moment we hit him up for stems because we wanted to edit his track for our live show.... he replied and sent over the pieces. As we were working we realized he had pitched up the entire track up for his version and it wasn't exactly what we had in mind to play out. We then wrote him back to let him know that we wouldn't be able to use any of his stems for our version, but that we would still add him as a collaborator on the track. We really want to support artists making this sound.... so we felt this would be a great way to boost up a very talented up-n-comer.
