On Tales of Pharaoh, a five-track journey through forbidden love and timeless mystery, “Sphinx” emerges as one of its two instrumental chapters. Unlike the lyrical songs that tell the human side of desire and destiny, Sphinx speaks in pure sound—a riddle without words. Its powerful bass arpeggios summon the weight of stone monuments, while retro-futuristic synth leads glide like shifting desert winds. Ambient pads and spatial effects stretch the horizon into infinity, and electric guitar bursts pierce through like lightning across an ancient sky.

Blending synthwave nostalgia, trance hypnotics, and cinematic ambience, “Sphinx” captures the dual spirit of the album: futuristic yet eternal, rooted in myth yet soaring into cosmic vision. It is the silent guardian of the album, standing between the human love stories and the timeless mysteries of Pharaoh’s realm.
