On s'égare dans la prairie, à semer des idées, parmi les pissenlits, quelques flocons de souvenir.

Je sens les odeurs de ta chère patrie, venir court-circuiter mon bouclier anti-folie.

J'entends ton silence me chatouiller le gosier, mais tu sais, la différence s'établit lors de l'absence.

Je vois toutes ces images mentir, décorer le sentiment, souvent intangible otage  du seul et frustrant langage.

Je t'aperçois, toi qui n'est manifestement plus ici, sauter les pages d'un livre que tu ne voulais plus lire.
Tu sais souvent j'ai peur, même si tu ne m'as jamais vraiment convaincu, mais tu vois la lueur? Comment comprendre ce qu'on y a aperçu.

The law of polarity is the principle that everything has two “poles”:  From good to bad, love to hate and attraction to disconnection. 
Everything in the universe has an opposite, everything is dual and that’s what allows us to experience life to the fullest and appreciate everything that’s good in the world.

Could you know happiness without sadness? Is there love without pain? Dark without light? 

The Valencrimes is a melodic indie rock act born out of the influences of guitar and synth based post rock, indie and electronic genres. They write songs that rock and pop with conceptual lyrics, driving bass, melodic guitars, grooving drums and catchy, memorable vocal melodies that linger everywhere along the line between the extremes of love and hate.

In 2020 The Valencrimes released 10 singles independently and are currently mixing new tracks set to be released this year.
