Description: My ex forced me to be separated from my children. I was angry. I created this about 15 years ago.

All drums were programmed from scratch - no loops.

Primal rage as a father tries to deal with the fact that his ability to influence his children's lives has been stolen from him.

This was created before my break up with my daughters' mother. The remixing and inclusion of the movie samples was a reaction to my ex deciding that she was the best person to raise my children and I was unnecessary. I sampled from - coincidentally - two Chris Nolan films; Memento and Batman Begins. Memento is one of my all-time favourite films. This is one of my favourite creations because it truly captures my heart-wrenching feelings of the time.

My sketchbook of sonic oddities that spans a few decades; from sample-centric OctaMED on my Amiga in '99 via Making Waves/SoundForge 4.5 to VST-centric Reason 13.
I emphasise the "sketchbook" aspect because these are snapshots of creativity that often outstay their welcome with too much repetition and too little progression. They are very far from being finished works but serve to capture the beginnings of ideas that might be developed into finished works in the future. There are no finished works here... only sketches. This is my sketchbook.
