Erin is a vocalist, producer and DJ based in Adelaide, and has created a spacious, uncluttered sound that takes cues from UK broken beat as much as neo soul and will be of particular interest to fans of Cleo Sol, Jorja Smith and Tiana Khasi.
Singer, songwriter, producer and DJ, Erin Buku is making waves in the underground circuit, from her home base on Peramangk country in Adelaide. Her music is a delightful blend of RnB, neo soul and hip-hop, taking cues from everything between UK broken beat and 90s pop. Her debut EP Lessons in Love received critical acclaim from Triple J, KCRW in Los Angeles and the BBC in the UK. In 2022, she collaborated with legendary emcee Talib Kweli.
Erin joins us on the Vinyl Collector on the eve,of her live set at this years Womad Adelaide festival.

Dubbed ‘Arabian Fuzz’ by the band and a “psych-rock storm” by Uncut magazine, Al-Qasar’s psychedelic rock is brazenly electric and deeply connected to its roots. The four-piece was formed in the Barbès neighbourhood of Paris in 2015, a suburb known for its large north African population. Like a psychedelic celebration on the dancefloor, their music bristles with a deep energy and grooves that build from bass, drums, and percussion. Electric saz and guitars build a wailing wall, while ecstatic Turkish Arabic vocals inspired by tradition soar above. Al-Qasar’s music never wavers, pulling from the hypnotic roots of North African trance and threading it into a fabric with the elaborate beauty of Arabic scales and the shock and thrill of rock’n’roll. The collective has performed at renowned international festivals such as Pukkelpop, Lowlands, Sziget, TransMusicales and Reeperbahn and their debut 2022 album Who Are We?, was described as “pretty bitchin’” by Iggy Pop on his BBC6 Radio show Iggy Confidential. Graeme Park (UK) 
Graeme is the story of the evolution of dance music and club culture itself. Graeme found himself working in a Nottingham record shop called Selectadisc in the early 1980s, when the very first house records began to filter through from Chicago, Detroit and New York. When the shop’s owner opened a nightclub, it was only natural he should turn to Graeme to select the discs. Determined to showcase this new style of music, his reputation as a house pioneer soon brought him to the attention of Mike Pickering at The Haçienda in Manchester, who asked him to cover for him while he went on holiday in 1988. Simply put, there was no-one else in the country who could do the job. The Summer of Love followed, and Parky quickly became one of the biggest names on the emerging dance scene. Aside from his nine year residency at The Haç, he was one of the first British DJs to play places like Australia, South America, the USA, Asia and beyond as well as producing and remixing tracks for the dancefloor, including The Brand New Heavies, Inner City, Eric B & Rakim, New Order, Sophie Ellis-Bextor and others. Exclusive Interview with Graeme Park (UK)

( Man ) Parrish is nonetheless one of the most important and influential figures in American electronic dance music. Helping to lay the foundation of electro, hip-hop, freestyle, and techno, as well as the dozens of subgenres to splinter off from those, Parrish introduced the aesthetic of European electronic pop to the American club scene by combining the plugged-in disco-funk of Giorgio Moroder and the man-machine music of Kraftwerk with the beefed-up rhythms and cut'n'mix approach of nascent hip-hop. As a result, tracks like "Hip-Hop Be Bop (Don't Stop)" and "Boogie Down Bronx" were period-defining works that provided the basic genetic material for everyone from Run-DMC and the Beastie Boys to Autechre and Andrea Parker -- and they remain undisputed classics of early hip-hop and electro to this day. A native New Yorker, Parrish was a member of the extended family of glam-chasers and freakazoids that converged nightly on Andy Warhol's Studio 54 club. His nickname, Man, first appeared in Warhol's Interview magazine, and his early live shows at Bronx hip-hop clubs were spectacles of lights, glitter, and pyrotechnics that drew as much from the Warhol mystique as from the Cold Crush Brothers.
