Same Four Walls are a Punk/Hardcore band from Bridgend, South Wales, formed in the latter months of 2010, when Ron, Rob and Adam became aware that their band at the time was destined to be stressful, with the drummer not having the same views, goals or level of commitment as they had, a chance meeting between Adam and long time friend/neighbour James Tiley on a train one day led to a conversation about Tiley having bought a new drum kit, it was quickly decided that Tiley would take the position behind the kit and they would start a fresh as Same Four Walls(A name that previous drummer was against using becuase, as far as is apparant, it wasn't his idea) The boys practised and wrote a couple of songs before Adam and Ron recruited new friend Tom Cockerill as 2nd guitarist, the band was now complete and in their eyes, perfect because all members were not only like minded but best friends, it seemed more real than just a bunch of musicians who's only link was that they played the necessary instruments to be a band. After 2 gigs a chance conversation with Music Technology student Joel Roudette led to the band gaining a free demo/ep recording at a top class studio suite in The Atrium, Glamorgan Uni, Cardiff as part of Joels project. Those sessions are available here on our SoundCloud. The band are currently taking all gig offers and would like to build up to a tour of the UK and Europe as soon as humanly possible. If you like fast hardcore/punk riffs (Propagandhi, Strike Anywhere) and Heavy breakdowns (Champion, Iron Age) with heartfelt and meaningful lyrics then this is worth a listen. Comments etc much appreciated. Also big thanks to our friend Tom Davies for taking out=r concepts and making them into amazing pieces of Art, cheers dude.
