The forthcoming new single 'Mesmerise' by Temples, taken from the band's eagerly anticipated debut album 'Sun Structures'.  The record is released by Heavenly Recordings on 10th February 2014 and 11th February in the US by Fat Possum.

The 12-track album was self-produced by the band’s James Bagshaw and mixed by Claudius Mittendorfer. The album will be available on CD, download and double vinyl.

Kiss The Sun

The original Ottersgear album: Our rambling protagonist, whilst out on his daily stroll about the pike, comes across a balloon. His simple mind thinks the balloon may be god; he has never seen a balloon before (or God for that matter). In his pursuit of the balloon he is trapped by sinful faeries that like to partake in the dance and the drink. They teach their ways to our innocent chap and he falls into their mindless trap. Waking in the woods the next day, terribly hungover and full of regret over his distraction from his objective he makes his way home. On his way he promises never to fall prey to such things again. He finds the balloon once more. .. .. ..

The Ninth Watch are a four piece indie band from Manchester [UK].

The band is fronted by vocalist and guitarist Stephen Ahern formerly of Dirty Circus (Sony Columbia Records), with Mike Fieldhouse also on guitar, Ian Holden on bass and Matt Ryan on drums and percussion.

Formed less the one year ago The Ninth Watch are lined up to promote their new material in the second half of 2012. Having recorded 6 tracks all produced by Seadna McPhail producer of tracks for elbow, Badly Drawn Boy, Happy Mondays, Inspiral Carpets and I Am Kloot plus many more.

Influenced by the Manchester music scene the likes of Elbow and Doves can clearly be heard on the songs 'Apples Of My Eyes' and 'Brave Bombardier', whilst other songs such as 'Forever's A Long Time' and 'Concrete Boots' have been likened to Ian Brown and the Happy Mondays.
