Electronics Dept.

This is the live recording of my 40th Bday Bash @ The Wheel House in Niwot.  I did my unique style of skratch-mixing I call 'folding' as in folding space and time.  About 80 drops in an hour, then about 25 minutes of a community skratch cypher that I wanted to conclude the show with.  It was one of the best nights of my life!!! Thank you so much to Evasive and ANAJ for opening and throwing down such sick sets!! "Pearls" -- demo/sketch -- 27/60 Day Song Challenge

Wave Collector is the electronic music project of Neal Wright. Collecting samples from nature, travels, and everyday life, Wave Collector creates textured sonic compositions.

Drawing inspiration from artists like Chrome Sparks, Gold Panda, Flying Lotus, Machinedrum, Boards of Canada, Teebs, and Shigeto, Wave Collector tells a story with every track, letting the source and circumstance of the field-recorded samples inform the composition. A long-time turntablist, Wave Collector also uses a turntable and mixer for scratching and sample manipulation during live shows.
