The Amazing Emily has returned! This is a Snippet of our latest tune which we did last week since she returned! It is still a work in progress, but I thought I would give you all a little taste of the progression that has occurred.

Wandering Soul Featuring Joe Mooney and Retrosonix

Whilst lying in bed on a sunday morning searching for new tunes on soundcloud, I came across Abnormal Projections from Romania. I loved the tunes, the way the keys worked with the beats and melody was genius, and the space between was mind blowing. 
I emailed him and said wow your tunes are amazing I love them, to which he replied, I am blushing, you are the 1st person to say so. So I suggested a collaboration, and I went through his tunes and pointed out all the beats and sounds that I liked, (you can still see my original comments on his soundcloud!) and he went and made a tune with that in mind. 
Then in Melbourne I recorded Emily singing, and discovered another poem we had recorded previously fitted the lyrics perfectly, and so I put it all together.

One night I was bored at home and put out to fb land send me some new music, so Conor Roberts sent me the jazz part of the the song which he wrote and recorded 3 years earlier. It was a gem! 

We were planning to use it as the intro to our album, then one night we were in the studio listening to it, and Emily was singing along, so she jumped on the mic and I recorded it. Then later that week I started throwing beats and synths in there and turned it into what it is now.

This is a remix I did of a Melbourne Band called June Flights, they sent me this one track as a demo and my god it is so remixable!

The original was quite simple little song, but it had such a powerful vocal,  I've ended up fiddling with this track over and over again, theres more that I would like to do, but I just have to let it go and get on with our own music!!!!

Im really looking forward to hearing more from this band!.

Big Flights- June Flights- Remix by The Wednesday Experiment

This is another truly remarkable tune by the amazing Gary Dumbarton. He sent it to us a year ago, the hard thing is when you receive a tune thats truly amazing, its really hard to know what to do with it!!! 
We deliberated for months, tried out different Mcs, toyed with the lyrics, and in the end pretty much just went with what we recorded the first time around. 
Thankyou very much Gary, your music is imply amazing, and all to undiscovered! We promise in future we wont take so long!!!!

Silvery Tounge - Retrosonix and The Wednesday Experiment

This is a tune we made with Cello Joe From San francisco. He was famously planning to do a tour of Australia on his bicycle, with a cello. I think he got 100 kms out of Cairns and relaised just how big Australia is, and hitchhiked the rest of the way. 

He was touring Australia over summer, and I saw his video of the bike girl while checking out artists playing at Rainbow Serpent Festival. His beats and cello were dope!!!!!. I knew we had to make a tune with this guy!!!! So when he got to Melbourne I tracked him down, and got him to come and jam out some stuff in my living room. 

As with all the collaborations, we meet someone, get really excited, record some stuff while they are in town for a few days, then have all these grand plans to add huge beats and synths and turn it into a monsterously epic tune, but then next week meet someone else who is only in town for one week, get really excited, run around record with them in the short time available, and after 6 months have dozens of half finished tunes. 

SO big apologys to Cello Joe for taking so long, one day we will turn this into a monsterous epic tune!!!! Your beats and cello are beautiful works of art.
