We got away from the city, hitched a ride on an old rusty bus.
Set up camp by the river side, dug a deep hole and
that's where we lit our fire, sat and watched embers in the night sky.

The summer breeze turned into a hurricane,
the shallow river began to rise.
With a point of a finger and a high pitched yell,
drew my attention to the wishing well of darkness,
think we've found something in the water, something in the water.

Don't don't you scream, don't you move too fast,
cause I know the answer to staying alive it's to slip away easy
and stay real quiet, stay real quiet.
