Hip Stir’s desire for adventure and freedom takes her where few people dare to go. Whether it’s traversing the planet or trailblazing in male-dominated industries, Hip follows her curiosity and passion wherever it leads her.

As a sonic journalist, Ms. Stir offers snapshots of her extensive travel experience through a variety of genres and moods. Taking listeners down a rabbit hole to the underground, she crafts one-of-a-kind tracks and DJ sets for every moment.

After crossing 23 borders on 4 continents, daring to create a revolutionary electronic music festival, and continuously committing to gender equity in the music industry, she will never stop finding new doors to open.

Hip founded BABE (Bad Ass Bitches Elevating): a femme and gender-expansive DJ collective in 2022 and has had a continuously positive impact on Austin’s DJ community. In her efforts to work towards a more equitable electronic music industry, she and the BABE team founded Babestock Music Festival: America’s first electronic music festival showcasing exclusively femme and gender-expansive artists and BABE Records: an electronic music label devoted to showcasing femme and gender-expansive talent.
