Pixels is a dance music band. We play shows in England, and a lot of shows in Liverpool. Critics have by now compared us to everyone, some of which we can see (hot chip, vampi weekies) and some of which we find baffling (Gloria Gaynor, Galliano). But that's cool. Pixels have announced the release of their first single, Dust, which can be streamed exclusively on the soundcloud page up until release on the 1st December 2012. The Band was formed in 1981, taking it's name from the film The Ninth Configuration and going through a myriad of line up changes as well as sometime wandering in the wilderness or producing material under a pseudonym, but is now once again creating tracks.

We post tracks on Soundcloud in different stages of completion mainly so we can hear what our fellow Soundclouders think.  We only have limited equipment to hear what our tracks sound like so any feedback about the sound quality & mix of our tracks is really useful and much appreciated!  We love to hear all the new stuff coming from everyone and will listen and comment as much as possible.  The community aspect of Soundcloud is very important to us.

Bio:

Paul (a.k.a. 'Horse') is a an expat from Britain now living in Canadian prairies after moving from the ancient city of Prague who tends to create strange little tunes   He plays bass, keyboards, and guitar with his hoof hands and does a fair bit of neighing and whinnying into microphones when he gets excited.  Ever since his escape from Prague zoo with his Tigress he has been on the run from zoo keepers and vets with very large nets.

http://soundcloud.com/ukinek (a.k.a. 'Moose') is a rare wandering foreign moose who met Paul in the hip British town of Bedford.  UKinEK spent many years trying to get the horse to do some work and actually write or play some music.  Only after UKinEK travelled round the world several times did he succeed.  UKinEK returned from Japan and is currently based in a forest in Moravia planning his escape to a new destination.  UKinEK is a beatmaker and texture maker extraordinaire and a talented producer/remixer who adds the influences from his travels and his own individual madness to the sound.  Oh and he has a penchant for flute...

Breaking out across the burgeoning electronic music scene in India - Oozeundat aka Roan Sable & Sidhant Naren are an explosive young duo out of Pune (India) who share a mutual love for Techno and Underground electronic music.
Taking a cue from their engaging DJ	sets	and	weaving	in past influences, they have crafted a sound that is intense, driven yet dance floor friendly. These musical foundations are heard on the duo's breakthrough release 'Bitch to Quit'	on Arjun Vagale's imprint Maktub Music.
The duo has also released on Schubert's label 'Black Swan Recordings' with a dance floor burner 'Waste No Time' followed up with a slew of remixes for well- known	names	such as MBF(Traum Schllaplatten, Germany), Egothermia Records(Hungary) and more in 2014 with heavy support coming in from the likes of Arjun Vagale / BLOT! / Danny Tenaglia / Dominik Eulberg / Jimmy Van M / Kohra / Marco Carola / Paco Osuna / ParideSaraceni / Project AKC / Richie Hawtin / Ruiz Sierra / Schubert / Steve Lawler.
2015 started off on a positive note for the Oozeundat crew, as they were voted runner-ups for the 'Best Techno DJ 2014- 15' at India's MyFavDJ Awards. Honours like	these have helped verify their credentials even as the duo has dominated the club and festival circuit with quality appearances at Sunburn Goa, Enchanted Valley Carnival, Go Madras & India's premier Techno showcase RESET sharing stage space with global heavy weights Ambivalent / Dubfire / Guy J / Jamie Jones / Kaiserdisco / Macromism / Marco Bailey / Slam & Spektre to name a few.
