"99 is already in the corner of the room in the shadows waiting for the chance to complete part 1 of the contract. Placing the steaming food tray on his table, he drops himself into the already sunken seat of the old musty chair causing it to creak and blow a cloud of dust into the room. 

99 has had her arm extended at the point he entered the room, pointing at the vacant chair waiting for him to sit, gambling with herself in her head to see if he lands in the spot she pointing her polished side arm at. 

Her jaw is working overtime at the now turned into gum gobstopper. A bubble is slowly expanded from her mouth and at the pop of the gum bubble 99 pulls the trigger as his head falls into her sights."

9Mile feat Jeff Vicario

“Don’t Fear the Roofer” is the Junkyard’s attempt at performing their civic duty in reassuring concerned High Peak citizens regarding a fairly common local phobia. Some Peak District towns – particularly Buxton – have many old, tall buildings; therefore, roof repairs are frequent, and often at extreme heights. The tradespeople who carry out this work have rightly gained a reputation for bravery and for physical strength and agility. Over time these attributes have become exaggerated and mythologised to the point where some view the “Roofers” as supernatural beings. Being Dadaists at heart, we thought the best way to challenge these erroneous beliefs was not through calm rational verbal explanation but by anarchic and undisciplined guitar playing, hip-hop sub-bass & punk beatbox.
