Spinning Grounds w/ Elli.on 

If DJing is an ultimate game of taste, then Elli.on trained her‘s at one of the famous places in Berlin  during her work at Club der Visionaere. She starts to learn a lot about music, the scene and the  people around her.  

With Vaginastan Elli.on started the first steps into DJing. Vaginastan, a collective that celebrates the  transformative power of the party experience and advocates for (gender) equality in the club scene.  As a co-founder of the collective Elli.on was involved in organizing & hosting events at Clubs, Open 
Air parties, a small festival outside of Berlin and booking DJs like Dana Ruh, Katie Drover, and  many artists more.  

Starting with the first gigs at the Vaginastan parties, Elli.on continued playing at CdV, Golden Gate,  Renate, Danube and Giegling. She has found her own take on House, Breakbeat, Minimal and  Electro. Laying the base with floating melodies, she likes to mix these juicy melodies with complex  rhythms and sometimes nasty baselines. A sound that has also found its’ way across the German  border like in Rotterdam, Istanbul, Switzerland & Norway. 

'Spinning Grounds' by @katharina-davids is all about opening grounds for newcomers to spin their music - to explore across genres from house, minimal, Detroit, dub techno to break beat and ambient.

Technics のターンテーブル、PioneerのCDJに古いRODECのミキサーよ。そこからMartin Audioのサウンドシステムに繋がるいるの。
 
 
-あなたの曲はこのミックスの中に使用しましたか？
 
いいえ、この時間帯は使ってないわ。
 
 
-ミックスのコンセプトやアイデアを教えてください。
 
このミックスに関してとなると、いつも私はパーティーのオープニングでプレイする時は、まずは緩く暖かい感じといった雰囲気を重視して、クラブに人が増えて来た時にはグルーブを保ちながら、徐々にあげて行く感じです。なので、この日も先ほども言ったようにオープンの１時間だったので、そういう感じになったわ。
 
 
-近況と最近の活動を教えてください。
 
春から夏にかけて２枚のEPがリリースされる制作が終わったところよ。１つはJan Krueger、Daze Maximのレーベル「Hello?Repeat」、もう１つはポルトガルの新しいレーベル"Assemble Music"からリリースされます。
