Revelation of Sound is pleased to present MTRL (material), an art project by Lukas Weinlein. Experimenting with several ways of artistic expression for years, the way of telling a deepminded story through sound cought his attention. Guided by that, he explored the universes that exist, painted by so many different styles of music. This insightful journey shaped his current understanding of music and ultimately led him to the endless possibilities of hypnotic electronic music, inspired by the infinite cosmos and organic voices of nature. Having bonded with a multitude of great artists helped to refine his style and created a sphere of inspiration around him. The permanent exchange of ideas and skills with other artists helped to transform MTRL into a still developing transmedial art project . The name for this specific art project was chosen because of the definition of the word material: "the matter from which a thing is or can be made" - It fits the purpose of the project very good. The aim of MTRL is to create an audiovisual experience from existing or non-existing matter for open-minded brains. Together with Dycide and Polygonia he is one of the minds behind the label @iorecs. His various releases on labels like Lowless, solid Shape and AGOS are played by some of the most established artists of the Hypnotic and Deep Techno scene.

Jessie Granqvist [Hypnotic woods/Momentum]
Since her debut as a DJ in 2011 she has been resident in several underground clubs which formed her as an artist and person.
With roots grounded in raves and open airs, she has gained notoriety for her style of trippy, groovy and meditative sounds merged together into a very danceable mix. With both technicality and an eclectic selection of records, she has the talent to truly build and build a long lasting vibe on every floor that she appears on. Since her start Jessie has been seen in almost every dj-booth in Stockholm (where she is based) as well as clubs in Berlin, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and more. 2018 she played her first live set at Uppsala artmuseum in a collab with artist Timothy Wilson. Jessie is resident at Stockholm based Hypnotic woods, Momentum and berlin based Feieramt.

Vincent Neumann, a dedicated music deep-diver, producer and DJ, has garnered a loyal underground following with his captivating closing sets and expert vinyl mixing. By day, he’s a psychotherapist and has been a resident DJ at Distillery since 2012. Known for energetic, authentic sets, he launched his label, Unitas Multiplex, in 2020, featuring acclaimed releases from various artists. Already with the first track for this Spinning Grounds mix, Vincent got your full attention.. and you will be diving with him until the very last track. Listen yourself, it’s a treat on frosty winter days.

“Believer” is a euphoric Ibiza-inspired hybrid club track blending progressive trance, melodic house, deep techno, and EDM. Written at 130 BPM in F minor, it combines hypnotic baselines, cosmic melodies, and luminous atmospheres to create a journey of self-discovery, transcendence, and spiritual awakening.

This is music for both the dancefloor and the soul — pulsing with energy, yet carrying a deeper message of belief and light.

BELIEVER | The Light

Porcelain EP by @chloebattelle sails between electronica, minimal techno, and breakbeat. The palette is cinematic - deliberate and enticing with carefully textured synths, organic percussion, and drums anchoring each track. Cycling through tumbling breaks, lush pads, and carefully crafted samples that reference the soundscape of 90’s breakbeat and trance, the tracks build subtly, layering rhythm and emotion with intent instead of resolving into anything obvious.

Across the EP, there’s a clear sense of restraint in the production and a willingness to leave space and to let ideas breathe. Chloe plays with dynamics intentionally: low-frequency energy is employed strategically and the stereo field is used as a storytelling tool; widening, folding in, and then expanding again. Hyper vocal snippets, booming kicks, and sparkling perc hits, are largely self-recorded or built from scratch, propelling the emotional weight of ‘Porcelain’.
