Vio PRG’s path into DJing was shaped by years behind the scenes — writing, curating, and organizing within music culture in Romania before ever stepping into the booth. Now a resident at @wilderenate and @refugeworldwide, her sets balance depth and motion, blending rolling grooves with understated twists and a sharp ear for flow.

‘This selection blends my usual lean toward floaty atmospheres with my take on the neocortex echo sound. The result is a 100% house mix led by 90s dub rollers, a sprinkling of deep and prog and a couple of recent favorites. Thanks for having me’

Wondering where to go with this mix, I was torn between recording a calm mix with blends of deep-listening pieces or something more energetic, fast-paced. In the end, I went for something in between. Slowed down, with a consistently deep & dubby tone, the mix moves from deep & dreamy to joyful & groovy and backwards, the momentum and energy building and bloom. A mixed bag (vinyl & digital) of deep house, house and early tech house. With music that makes me feel a lot.
