Hi friends,

I’m very excited about our mix today - it comes from Catalina, a DJ hailing from Romania, now based in Brussels. 

Catalina’s propulsive, break heavy and future-focused mixes are an enormously good time. She has a modern digger’s ear for unearthing some of the tastiest club workouts, and remains unafraid of allowing otherworldly sonics to enter from stage left. 

Catalina honed her craft in London, holding court in clubs like XOYO, Corsica Studios and Printworks, as well as community stations Balamii and the late 199radio. Now back in Brussels, she continues her contribution to the vibrant local scene, mixing for Kiosk Radio, the Word, and collectives Club Dramatik, Queer Future, C12 and nacht. In addition to her mixes, Catalina has begun making tracks of her own, the first of which will appear on a Greenpeace x DJs for Climate Action compilation out later this summer. 

Bliss Point is very glad to welcome Catalina to the series with 82 minutes of the DJ and budding producer in top form.

As a Romania-via-London transplant, Catalina has been taking steady leaps in the electronic music scene. A regular on the airwaves of @kioskradio , she’s made a name for herself by exploring the chemistry between deconstructed weighty, percussive tempos and aquatic melodies, all the while borrowing elements from her musical beginnings in the UK. Her textured and uplifting sets are almost extraterrestrial, teleporting the dancefloors further into the stratosphere and beyond with a colourful mutation of leftfield electro, breaks and house.

LOURDES is a Colombian DJ and producer based in Bogotá. She is one of the most prominent and hottest names to have appeared on the Latin American Hard- and Industrial Techno scene in the last few years.

In this set she will slow things down in comparison to her usual performances, mixing genres like techno, groove and hardtechno and focusing on creating longer atmospheres with precise changes, without losing her typical dark touch.

For the second edition of this show, @tinavonkugler invites @kvkn___ (he/she/they)  KVKN (KevKen) is a DJ from Ecuador and the founder of the El Semillero collective. 

The artist has been instrumental in shaping the local electronic music scene, organizing events like Semillero Fest and the city’s first Techno Parade in collaboration with the LGBT+ Pride movement, which brought together over 7,000 people.  

For this edition of From Another Groove, KVKN will present a set inspired by their journey over the past year. Blending trance influences with touches of techno, the performance reflects their evolving sound and the experiences that have shaped his music.

Staary is a DJ from Strasbourg, France, known for her hard-hitting sound and passion for high-energy electronic music. She has been actively working to grow the local hard techno scene while also being part of wom-x, a collective empowering FLINTA* individuals through DJing workshops and safe spaces.

Staary delivers a powerful set blending neotrance, hard bounce, acid, and hard techno - taking listeners on a dynamic journey through the styles that define her sound.

Cala is a DJ based in Lima, Peru, with a deep connection to electronic music that started at a young age. After discovering techno at six, she began producing at 15, learned to DJ at 19, and fully committed to her passion at 24. Her sound blends hard techno, hard pop, hard trance, and even hardcore, all driven by intense energy.

For this set, Cala delivers an electrifying mix of neorave, hard techno, and trance, packed with an unstoppable bassline and a few unreleased tracks. It’s a powerful reflection of her style, designed to transport listeners to the raw, euphoric atmosphere of a rave.

Lo Stine is a DJ and producer whose path into music began in the world of experimental horror audio demos - where tension, distortion, and raw emotion shaped their creative instincts. That early exploration naturally led to DJing, a space where they could channel chaos into sound and craft immersive, unpredictable narratives. Lo Stine moves fluidly between underground techno, indie dance, and cinematic soundscapes, always seeking the balance between tension and release.

For this set, The Wipeout, Lo Stine draws inspiration from the ocean’s relentless force, an experience shaped during a surf trip in Mexico under the full moon and a powerful eclipse. What began as a smooth ride quickly turned turbulent—a cracked display, a brutal sunburn, and moments of uncertainty. But with the help of their friend and fellow producer Nebraska, they found a way to push through, much like in music, where chaos and recovery collide.

The mix reflects that journey—hypnotic and driving, shifting between eerie, atmospheric depths and high-intensity surges. Like being caught in a wipeout, the energy builds, crashes, and resurfaces in waves, carrying the listener through a sonic experience that mirrors the unpredictable, untamed power of nature.

PSYKEDELIA is a DJ based in northern Italy, with a background in classical piano and a deep connection to electronic music shaped by her time in Moscow’s underground scene. After years of training and exploration, she turned to vinyl and began crafting her own distinct sound.

Her style leans into sharp, cold techno, blending hypnotic loops, fast rhythms, and emotional intensity. Influenced by punk, rave culture, and both local and global mentors, her sets are precise, raw, and full of energy.

For this show, she delivers a high-voltage vinyl mix—techno-driven, emotional, and built to surprise. Expect cold textures, heavy basslines, and passionate twists—no BPM spoilers, just dive in.
