Firstly I would like to say, all those suffering with Psoriatic arthritis .. I TOTALLY GET IT !!!!  I had my first flare up a few months back and it stopped me dead in my tracks !!!! . I could'nt open a tin of beans never mind play anything. Luckily I got my shot (which made me feel like I was 20 again) which lasted long enough for the medication to kick in and now things seem to have calmed down a great deal. fingers crossed !!!
I started tracking this one about 4 months ago but never got it finished. FINALLY its finished I hope you all enjoy it. Just somthing easy going to get started again.

We are very proud to present the first of many organically grown collaboration between One Man Verity Show and The Beautiful Dark. This was effortless. I guess thats the other amazing thing that real musicians can share... For years we stare through our instruments at the world of music and then someday we connect and the visions combine. We'll keep comparing our world to the world of fake music until it is the fad that it should be... AI cannot deliver you a connection like we just started. You may get a remotely similar result but heres whats real... AI has never has our eyes to look at the woerld for 40 odd years with and it never will. Heres to real human connections and real music. In the 5 years I have been working with Rod, I have been encouraged to reach as far as my experience allows me to, with complete support at all times. So far we have completed 11 songs and have experimented with several others that made for a great learning curve for me, with several more at other stages of development... Watch this space, however as we are methodical and patient, therefore it may take some time to get them off the ground.

The subject matter of this song may be based on a different scenario but it is also a token of my gratitude to my inspirational collaborator and friend Rod, who has given me much confidence to rise to the ambition of his musical creativity and meticulous arrangements. Thank you all for giving this song your time.

Rod says - 
This song was conceived a long time ago to be sung in Spanish, but Mark did a magnificent adaptation with his English lyrics, and the meaning is 100% faithful to the original spirit, even though he hadn't heard the original song in Spanish. Technically, there are three voices together, consolidating a multi-vocal performance. The synth sounds emulate my old analog and FM synths, and the guitars were routed through an old console to achieve the vintage sound I was looking for.

The original song just had acoustic guitar and piano.  Torben Fugger heard the song on SC and took it to a new level of orchestration adding tasty slide+electric guitar work.  At that point it sounded like it needed some low end, and Wayne Cribbs stepped in to add a tasteful bass guitar track.
