Pianiste, Compositeur.
Eric Dartel compose au piano sous l'inspiration d'harmonies riches qui s'assemblent naturellement en mouvements fluides sous ses doigts. Il enrichit parfois sa musique du timbre d'autres instruments acoustiques, voire électro. Libres de toute contrainte, ses propositions mélodieuses aux couleurs multiples sont autant d'invitations au voyage.
 Eric Dartel composes inspired by the rich harmonies naturally emerging in fluid movements underneath his fingertips. From time to time, he enriches his work with the voices of other accoustic instruments, possibly even adding an electronic touch here and there. Dartel's music, multi-colored and melodious, free from all constraint, invites the listener on a journey.

I came to the universe of musical creation through my guitar and different musical formations. 
I am particularly interested in movies soundtracks and I am currently studying at the Conservatoire National de Musique et de Danse of Lyon in Gilles Alonzo’s class.

Playing the piano, i am nowadays composing pieces for stringquartet, woodwinds, orchestra, but mostly jazz, loungemusic, etc.
Usually my compositions are realized with CUBASE and several virtual instruments.

I am a flute teacher, concertist flutist, composer and software engineer.
I have taken back the study of piano since May 2018. I am a member of the Sacem in Paris and of the Swiss association Archebole located in Lausanne.
