Jay Cris is a 20 year old emcee from Southwest Houston, Texas. He started his transition into the rap game at 19 years old with the rap group AOD with longtime friend Black Abyss. They released their first EP, "Ancient of Days - The Prelude" on Datpiff.

For his first solo single, Jay Cris explores his southern roots to create a Houston styled hip hop classic produced by Seattle native Cosmic. He is accompanied by Houston rap legend and lyrical giant K-Rino of the South Park Coalion.
